40 years of grateful sobriety in AA. Lived in Indonesia for many years. Lots of Muslims working the steps with solid sobriety. The God of their understanding is Allah and their prophet is Mohammed. Go figure.
The prophet that married a 6 year old and consummated the marriage when she was 9? I would prefer to take my chances with the grog.
I wouldn’t rely much on this guy’s input. Men that hangout in south east Asia are usually there for sex with exploited females and or children. 40 years sobriety (if that’s true) plus wouldn’t imagine him starting out much younger than 20, so in his 60s at least absolutely fits the profile. Go figure.
