Take Step Eleven

I have been reflecting on this "Langauge of the Heart Article" a lot lately
and spreading the message of the article as well. It is fairly cut and dry.
Below is just a portion of the article that answers the age old question of "why am I not getting this thing?'
or "I feel disconnected" or "blah, blah, blah" (I attached the entire writing)

Prayers for July 7

*Meditation For The Day
Painful as the present time may be; you will one day see the reason
for it. You will see that it was not only testing, but also a
preparation for the life-work which you are to do. Have faith that
your prayers and aspirations will someday be answered.
Answered in a way that perhaps seems painful to you but is the only
right way. Selfishness and pride often make us want things that
are not good for us. They need to be burned out of our natures.

The Old Violin (The Touch of the Master's Hand)

The Old Violin

'Twas battered and scarred, and the auctioneer,
Thought it scarcely worth his while,
To waste much time on the old violin,
But he held it up with a smile.

"What am I bidden, good folks?" he cried,
"Who'll start the bidding for me?
A dollar, a dollar, now two, only two,

find it a waste of time to keep chasing a man who cannot or will not

Independence Day

SOBER. - I'm grateful for having a group of men I can associate with who have a like-minded desire for "The One Thing".

A New Day

Wow!, I have never had a blog all my own. It feels pretty good. Thank you Eric for keeping us up to par in a day of technological wonder. I guess now is when the object is to write something.

The Eight Points Of The Oxford Group

The Eight Points Of The Oxford Group by C. Irving Benson (published 1938) From Page 5 (pg. 31 of the .pdf):

"The initial step and the indispensable step in the quest is: ABSOLUTE SURRENDER OF OUR LIVES TO GOD. Surrender is 'life under new management.'
